In Lost Ark, Ghost Ships are special raids you can find as you sail across the world on your ship. There are three ghost ships with varying power levels. Our Lost Ark Ghost Ship guide will show the Ghost Ship locations, required item levels, and explain how they work.
Simply put, Ghost Ships are…well…ships full of ghosts and ghouls that can be found in Lost Ark‘s open seas. They often yield tremendous rewards, but actually managing to defeat the ship’s undead crew and claim your prizes quickly proves to be one of the most frustrating challenges in the game. Of course, you’ll have to actually find these ships before you can raid them, and that part of the process is certainly proving to be half the battle.
The opponents on board are not easy foes to takedown and you’ll be on a time limit as well, so you’ll need to be at your best to complete the encounter. In total, there are three different types of Ghost Ship that all require a different Item Level to complete, you can check them out below:
Nightmare Ghost Ship: Item Level 460 (North of Sea of Procyon)
Shadow Ghost Ship: Item Level 960 (East of Feiton)
Tempest Ghost Ship: Item Level 1370 (Southeast of Punika)
When are Ghost Ships available?
All three Ghost Ships follow a schedule, and you’re only able to do them when they appear. You can check the times by hitting the compass icon under the minimap to open Procyon’s Compass. There’s a tab for Ghost Ships that allows you to check their spawn times and even set timers to notify you when they’re coming up.
Lost Ark: Where Do You Find Ghost Ships?
The first thing you need to know about Ghost Ships is that they only spawn every handful of hours on the hour. That means that there will be times when you’re parked on the exact spot where a Ghost Ship will eventually spawn but won’t be able to interact with it until it actually does.
Ghost Ships are marked on the map with a small grey vessel symbol indicating Nightmare Ghost Ships spawn North of the Sea of Procyon, Shadow Ghost Ships appear East of Feiton, and finally, Tempest Ghost Ships pop up Southeast of Punika.
